Onalytica’s InfluenceMonitor service is a web-based service for monitoring and analysing all online news and social media (including blogs, forums, news groups, etc).
InfluenceMonitor uses recognized quantitative methodologies to measure the topical influence of each blog/media.
InfluenceMonitor uses this knowledge of influence to flag up relevant stories for you while keeping unimportant blog references about the tracked issues/brands on file for potential later review and analysis.
Track real-time sentiment on your own and competing brands and benchmark them.
Use the sentiment tracking to identify stories that “make a difference” and help amplify those stories via bigger media or defend where needed.
InfluenceMonitor has a graphical interface displaying the conversations and activities in easy-to-understand graphs, pies and bar charts. All graphical displays can be clicked to drill down to the underlying articles/blog posts.
Because InfluenceMonitor continuously calculates the topical influence of each online voice it can factor in this weight when measuring share-of-buzz and share-of-influence.
InfluenceMonitor enables teams to make notes and comments about stakeholders/media/blogs. Example: InfluenceMonitor flags up an important story about one of your products or services. A person from your team makes a note (in InfluenceMonitor) about the post (“Should we contact this writer and inform him about….”). All your other team members will see this note as soon as they log in and can take action/respond.
